Le Cordon Bleu Japan is pleased to launch a new internship program.
At Le Cordon Bleu we have developed relationships with Japanese and International properties including international hotels, restaurants, pastry shops, bakeries, and cafes, which will provide you with a very unique experience to put into practice your newly learned skills and perhaps introduce you to an exciting new career.
The internship program provides students with the opportunity:
- To apply, develop and evaluate your newly acquired knowledge and skills in the workplace
- To experience, evaluate and gain valuable insight into the real life work environment of organizations including a range of operational procedures, processes, systems and philosophies of the organization
- To build a collection of personal workplace experiences that they can reflect upon and relate to what they have learned in class
Professional Experience is internship that is a privilege reserved for students who have received Diploma of Cuisine, Diploma of Pastry, or Diploma of Bakery.
Students considered for internships must have attained solid academic results, including practical and written test results (must achieve an academic result of over 75% ) and shown evidence of exemplary conduct in areas related to punctuality, attendance, and discipline. A positive and willing attitude and a high motivation to work in industry is the first condition to apply to internship. Length of internships is at least 1 monthand it may be changed upon provider’s circumstance.
At Le Cordon Bleu we take a very personalized approach to customise your industry placement experience. Students will be counseled prior, during and following the internship process to ensure that the learning experience is maximized for the student.
